Via del Borgo 9 is situated in Tavernelle, North West Tuscany, in the Appenine Mountains.  The nearest main town is Aulla.  Tavernelle is a small village of about 200 inhabitants.

The house forms an integral part of the borgo (medieval historic centre), preserved and unspoilt.  No cars allowed in borgo, so there is ample free car parking in road close by. The house is in a convenient position at the beginning of the borgo - approximately 17th century, very characteristic, with thick granite walls and high ceilings.

Downstairs
Shared courtyard (suitable for outside dining), washing line, front door leads straight into living area in which: sofa, two armchairs, pine dining table, fitted kitchen, calor-gas hob, electric oven, electric immersion heater, 2 portable calor gas heaters, one portable halogen heater, fridge. Newly installed state-of-the-art woodpellet-burning stove in living room. The washing machine is in downstairs main bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Bedroom overlooking borgo, with 2 single beds.

Upstairs
Double bedroom with 4'6" bed, another bedroom with two 3' wide armchair-divans and which is also used as a TV lounge. Off this is a newly converted little attic bedroom which would be suitable for a younger person/child, with 2'6" Z-bed, and velux window. Smaller bathroom with toilet, sink and shower next to the double-bedroom.
